<p>Keep an eye on the tide — it’s much easier to kayak when the sea is up to the steps, making launch and return simpler.</p><p>Be cautious in changeable weather, as conditions can become rough very quickly.</p><p>Please be careful getting the kayak in and out of the sea to avoid damage or injury.</p><p>Use of the kayak is entirely at your own risk and we accept no liability</p>

About our Kayak

<p>We have a Yellow Red double-seated kayak, Wave Sport, which you’re very welcome to use at your own risk.&nbsp;</p><p><b>Location</b></p><p>Winter: The kayak is kept in the garden next to the table.</p><p>Summer: The kayak is locked to the railings on the slipway down to the beach.</p><p>Padlock code: please see your booking email. If you can't find it, please get in touch.</p><p>In summer - Please lock it again after use.</p><p><b>Access to the Sea</b></p><p>Winter: Carry the kayak through the gates and down the jetty.</p><p>It’s quite heavy — 2 people recommended.</p><p>Please take care not to scrape or damage it.</p><p>Summer: Unlock the kayak and carry it down the slipway.</p><p><b>Equipment</b></p><p>2 paddles and 2 life jackets (adult &amp; child sizes)</p><p>Stored in boxes under the water tank in the Utility Room</p><p>Please hang everything up again after use to dry – don’t pack wet life vests into boxes.</p><p><b>Where to Paddle</b></p><p>There’s lots to explore nearby, including historic ruins and the Brennam Torpedo Station (built in 1888).</p><p>A local favourite is Penlee Point, with large steps and a sandy, tucked-away beach — about 20–30 minutes towards Rame Head.</p>
